Reflexology

What is Reflexology?

Reflexology is a non-invasive complementary modality in which Reflexologists apply alternating pressure using thumb, finger and hand techniques, on predefined pressure points located on the hands and feet, alleviating the source of discomfort and promoting good health and relaxation.

How does it work?
Reflexologists use specific techniques to apply pressure on reflex points that connect directly with organs and glands via the nervous system. By means of this touching therapy any part of the body or a whole system can be strengthened and relaxed. This is a completely natural and gentle therapy that affords relief without the use of drugs; encouraging the body to work naturally to restore its own healthy balance.

Is Reflexology safe? Is it a medical treatment or a substitute for medical advice?
Reflexology is an extremely safe form of preventive therapy and its ultimate purpose is to promote wellness. It is recommended that pregnant women and people with serious and long-term medical problems seek the advice of a physician before scheduling a session. Reflexology does not constitute medical treatment in any form and it is not a substitute for medical advice or treatment.
